Black Iris - Explosive Vision
Join us at the historic Gasverket during Stockholm Art Week to experience EXPLOSIVE VISION.
The Gasverket, or Gas House, a venue of social and historical significance designed by Swedish architect Ferdinand Boberg, stands frozen in time, providing a remarkable backdrop for this mindful dialogue between art and history, curated by Black Iris. In the past, Gasverket served as a gathering place where Stockholmers collected their gas tokens. Today, the Black Iris collective merges the venue's history with the contemporary art scene, resulting in a smooth collision of the old and the new.
The works by Gunilla Klingberg, Johan Thurfjell, Matthias van Arkel, Maria Nordin, Stefan Otto, Anneè Olofsson, Juan Pedro Fabra Guemberena, Anna Camner, Ulrika Sparre, Marcus Mårtenson, Julia Peirone, and Éva Mag project a forward-looking vision, igniting a dynamic energy that resonates with the spectacular surroundings.
